  • AOP on the Road – July 29, 2007. Lost Childhood. Staged workshop of opera-in-development by Jan Hamer and Mary Azrael. Collaboration with IVAI, Tel Aviv. Janice Levin Auditorium, Tel Aviv Yafo Music Center, Tel Aviv, Israel. Music Direction: Steven Osgood.

  • AOP First Chance/Brooklyn Outreach – Aug 25, 2007. The Summer King by Daniel Sonenberg and Daniel Nester. Staged workshop of Act I, sc. 1-2. Collaboration with St. John's Place on Stage in front of Five Myles Gallery. Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.

  • AOP First Chance/Brooklyn Outreach – Aug 30, 2007. The Summer King by Daniel Sonenberg and Daniel Nester. Staged workshop of Act I, sc. 1-2. “Baseball through the Eye of the Artist”, Fort Greene Park Conservancy’s Outdoor Summer Film Series 2007. Fort Greene Park - Ft. Greene, Brooklyn.

  • AOP First Chance/Brooklyn Outreach – Sep 8, 2007. The Summer King by Daniel Sonenberg and Daniel Nester. Staged workshop of Act I, sc. 1-2. Collaboration with FortGreeneFest, Fort Greene Park - Ft. Greene, Brooklyn.

  • AOP Composers & the Voice - Oct. 12-13, 2007. Six Scenes at South Oxford Space, 138 S. Oxford Street, Brooklyn, 8:00 PM. Presentation of operatic scenes from the 2006-07 Resident Company.

  • AOP on the Road – Nov. 3, 2007 – 2:00PM. Screening of Darkling (adapted and Directed by Michael Comlish, text by Anna Rabinowitz and music by Stefan Weisman, "The Darkling Thrush" song by Lee Hoiby). Film from AOP’s 2007 tour in Poland and Germany presented by Up on Screen Festival - The New York Public Library Hamilton Fish Park Branch 415 Houston Street (Ave C)).

  • AOP Reception – Nov. 5, 2007. In honor of Tom Phillips (librettist/designer of Heart of Darkness) to discuss his work. Collaboration with Flowers Gallery at Upper East Side - Flowers Gallery, 1000 Madison Ave, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10075.

  • AOP on the Road – Nov. 9 & 11, 2007. Heart of Darkness. Staged workshop of opera in one act by Tarik O'Regan and Tom Phillips in association with the Institute for Advanced Study. Nov. 9 - Institute for Advanced Study - Wolfensohn Hall Princeton, NJ. Nov. 11 - South Oxford Space Brooklyn, NY. Music Direction: Steven Osgood. (Nov 9) and Oliver Gooch (Nov 11).

  • AOP Libretto Readings – Nov. 16-18, 2007. Judgment of Midas libretto workshop. Music by Kamran Ince, libretto by Miriam Siedel. Commissioned by Prof. Crawford Greenwalt for the 100th year of Sardis/Lydias excavation (sponsored by Harvard and Cornell Universities) for 2008 - South Oxford Space, 138 S. Oxford Street, Brooklyn (closed to the public).

  • AOP Holiday Event – Dec. 16, 2007. Winter Benefit to honor composer Lee Hoiby at Martin Goldstein apartment (Board of Directors).

  • AOP Helping Hands – Mondays, Jan 14 - Feb 18, 2008. Creating the Dramatic Character for Opera. Lauren Flanigan, instructor. SITI Studio, 520 8th Avenue at 36th Street, New York, NY.

  • AOP First Chance – Jan 18-20, 2008. Scenes from Séance on a Wet Afternoon (composer: Stephen Schwartz), Unruly Horses (music: Vladimir Vysotsky; conceived by: Moni & Mina Yakim), Golden Gate (composer: Conrad Cummings). South Oxford Space, 138 S. Oxford Street, Brooklyn & Rose Studio, Lincoln Center, NYC.

  • AOP WORLD PREMIERE – April 26 & 28, 2008. This is the Rill Speaking (World Premiere Production) by Lee Hoiby, Music Direction by Benton Hess, Stage Direction by Ned Canty. In association with Purchase College Opera and Symphony Space. April 26, 2008 – 8:00PM - Purchase College Conservatory of Music - Recital Hall- 735 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase, NY 10577 with Lee Hoiby’s The Tempest. April 28, 2008 – 8:00PM - Symphony Space - Peter Jay Sharp Theatre - 2537 Broadway at 95th Street, New York, NY 10025-6990 with excerpts from Lee Hoiby’s The Tempest.

  • AOP Composers and the Voice - May 8-9, 2008. First Glimpse 2008: Presentation of works from the 2007-08 Resident Company at South Oxford Space, 138 S. Oxford Street, Brooklyn, 8:00PM.

  • AOP Community Outreach – June 21, 2008. Make Music NY 08. AOP performed songs from this year’s C&V composers based on the writings of Brooklyn’s own Walt Whitman in between presentations from Opera on Tap, Collective Opera Company, and Rhymes With Opera at Lincoln Square, Manhattan at 12:00PM and at Fort Greene Park, Brooklyn at 2:30PM.
