- AOP First Chance Nov. 3-4, 2006. Tarik O’Regan’s Heart of Darkness (based on the novella by Joseph Conrad, libretto by Tom Phillips). South Oxford Space, Brooklyn, NY and Institute for Advanced Study, Wolfensohn Hall, Princeton, NJ. 8 pm. Concert workshop and libretto reading.

- AOP on the Road Feb. 21, 2007. Poetry Society of America presents W. H. Auden Centennial Celebration. Musical interludes presented by American Opera Projects with readings by poets John Ashbery, Adam Gopnick, Saskia Hamilton, Nick Jenkins, Glyn Maxwell, and Wayne Koestenbaum.
