- AOP in the Parks – June 18, 2005. Leaves of Grass, an outdoor festival with many Brooklyn-based arts & community organizations as a tribute to the 150 th Anniversary of the publication of Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass. Actors, poets, singers and instrumentalists will perform in a site-specific environment in Brooklyn first park, Fort Greene Park, and along historic Myrtle Avenue. 11am-11pm.
