Premiere Presentation.  Six Scenes: A Dream of Mrs. Pilat, music by Aleksandra Vrebalov, words by Vladimir Pavolovic and Aleksandra Vrebalov; The Dreamland Fire, music and libretto by Kala Pierson; Ugetsu, music by Michael Rose, libretto by Alex Halberstadt; Another Birthday, music and libretto by Arthur Rosen; The Painter, music and libretto by Edward Ficklin; The Summer King, music by Daniel Sonenberg, libretto by Daniel Nester. South Oxford Space, 138 S. Oxford Street, Brooklyn, Sat. 8pm, Sun., 5 pm special benefit performance.

First Chance – Oct. 10-11, 2003. The Upside Down Boy. South Oxford Space 138 S. Oxford Street, Brooklyn

First Chance – Oct.31-Nov.1, 2003. A Hunger Artist, music by Lance Horne, libretto by Mark Campbell, based on the short story by Franz Kafka, and Tone Test, music and libretto by Nick Brooke. South Oxford Space 138 S. Oxford Street, Brooklyn.

In-house Workshop – Jan. 2004. Darkling workshop. During the month of January, 2004, an improvisational workshop was held in New York City, consisting of 9 sessions using 6 actors and singers. The purpose of the workshop was for Michael Comlish to explore each section of the book length poem Darkling.

AOP at DTW –  May 26, 2004.  Song at Sunset, music by John Kennedy, text by Walt Whitman (1860), and performed by the FLUX Quartet.  Co-presented by The Walt Whitman Project. 3 Baritone Songs, music by David Del Tredici, performed by David Del Tredici and Chris Pedro Trakas.

AOP at DTW –  June 9, 2004. An Evening of New Songs featuring Melanie Mitrano and Paul Sperry singing new music by Tom Cipullo, David Eddleman, Allan Jaffe, Melanie Mitrano, and John Musto.

First Chance, AOP at DTW – June 10 & 11, 2004. Scenes from two operas in development, Before Night Falls, music by Jorge Martín, libretto by Jorge Martín and Dolores M. Koch, and A Letter to East 11th Street, music by Martin Hennessy, libretto by Mark Campbell, performed by Michael Slattery with direction by Robin Guarino.

Premiere – July 22-24, 2004. Tone Test, music and libretto by Nick Brooke at Lincoln Center Festival 2004, Directed by David Herskowitz, music direction by Alan Johnson, featuring Dina Emerson and Gregory Purnhagen.
